Ka’iwa has a vibrant background in dance and culture. Growing up in Honolulu, she spent 20 years mastering ballet before moving to the west coast for college, where she explored hip-hop, jazz, and musical theater. Her move to Florida helped her find a sense of belonging in Hālau, reconnecting her to her roots as Keiki o ka ‘āina.

Her love for her kumu and hula sisters highlights her commitment to her craft and strong community ties. Ka’iwa's strengths in the dance industry make her a valuable asset in the logistics and organization of our performances and events.
